The true zero order waveplate means that the thickness of waveplate is very thin(less than 0.1mm) which make it excellent under the conditions of temperature, wavelength and incident angle(about 20 deg). Therefore, it is excellent choice for the highly accurate application. In order to enable the waveplate suitable for high damage threshold(more than 1 GW/cm2) application, we can provide a single plate of true zero order waveplate. We also cement the thin quartz plate on a BK7 substrate to increase the strength.
True Zero order waveplate- cemented
This type of zero order waveplate is constructed of a true zero order waveplate and a BK7 substrate. As the waveplate is very thin and easy to be damaged, the BK7 plate's function is to strengthen the waveplate.
